This reference mark is located about 9 miles southeast of Paisley, Oregon along Ore Hwy 31 near milepost 107. The cap is set in a 12 inch square concrete post about 30 feet south of highway centerline. The reference mark was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1948 and was stamped MOSS NO 1.
