Caldwell Fire & Rescue was established in 1892 and is now comprised of two fire stations. CFS currently serve 12 Sq. Miles within the City and 120 Sq. Miles in rural areas. The city area is comprised of approximately 30,000 people and approximately 25,000 people within the rural area. These areas are currently covered by 22 firefighters in the City and 10 rural firefighters. In addition, there are a total of fifteen (15) paid on call firefighters, three (3) administrative personnel and one (1) office clerk.
