This old bell is located in front of the Lyons Fire Department in downtown Lyons, New York. It dates back to the year 1857.

This old bell is on permanent public display outside the Lyons Fire Dept. fire house on Water Street in the Village of Lyons, New York. The bell has the following information on it: Jones & Hitchcock Founders,
Troy, New York. 1857. There is a plaque on the base that the bell is mounted to and this is inscribed: Dedicated to the volunteer fireman past and present. He protects life and property. A service both to you and himself. Lyons Fire Dept. 1959.
