Bucyrus is the County Seat of Crawford County Ohio. This marker claims to sit on the Meridian but GPS coords show it to be slightly off. Not bad for 1884 calculations.

You can peak into the sides of the locked panel. It appears to be some sort of a device that pulls out like a drawer. Maybe a something that would hold a sextan or other surveying tool.

I have known about this marker for years and years and I am glad to be able to share it with others.
