From the University of Wisconsin Digital Collection:
"Townsend, a Chicago architect, designed this elaborate Queen Anne Style residence for the son of Timothy Jackman. (See 55 South Atwood.) The complex exterior includes steeply-pitched roofs and projecting balconies, turrets and bays. Richly- textured surfaces are covered with shingles, panels, and a variety of turned and scroll-sawed trim. Among the many window treatments is an eyebrow dormer set into a hexagonal turret roof."
