Hawksbill Mountian is the highest peak in Shenandoah National Park with an elevation of 4050 feet. This hut is located near the summit. There are several trails leading to this hut including a fire road. We parked at the parking area at mile 45.6 and hiked 1.7 miles uphill to the summit and a great view!
