Sinking Ponds Wildlife Sanctuary in East Aurora, New York is a beautiful and spectacular preserve dedicated to the conservation of nature and its unspoiled solitude. Since this area is a very sensitive habitat, I decided a virtual cache would be the best course of action as it will introduce visitors to this majestic area while having a very minimal impact on its fragile surroundings.
While you visit Sinking Ponds, please take the opportunity to enjoy the diverse wildlife that calls this place home. Here you will find a great deal of water fowl including ducks, geese and herons. There are also many trails that will take you around the lake and surrounding wetlands - so please take the opportunity to experience the diversity and beauty of Sinking Ponds.
