RCE1984 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This is a small rise of granite north of Ice House Reservoir.
It is located on Forest Service land but on the border of private property owned by Sierra Pacific Logging. This whole area under went extensive logging over the past year, making the deer hunting opportunities poor. I found this marker when I was doing just that, deer hunting. Great view of Lookout Mountain from here as well. Elevation was supposed to be 5400' but I got readings of less that with my GPS High of 5397' low of 5359'average from 5 readings of ~5381'. Nearby Forest Service survey marker tree was fallen due to rot. Access can be had from Wrights Lake Road (FS 32)
