The clinic has been in its present location since 1987. The equipment is specialized to accommodate the needs of exotic pets including specialized incubators for housing sick birds or reptiles with the correct heat, humidity and lighting. Their anaesthetic machine uses strictly Isoflurane gas, the safest gas agent available for exotic species.
The hospital is designed to separate species as needed, with a special ward for ferrets. Since there are no barking dogs or meowing cats to disturb our hospitalized animals, their stress level is minimized.
The staff is well trained in disease recognition and control in all exotic species, and appropriate disinfection protocols are always followed.
