The Tarlton Community Church and Cemetery is located on State Route 56 in Grundy County Tennessee. The original Church building was built in 1894 with the cemetery dating back soon after that right around the year 1900. In April 1994, decendents from original Church members formed the Tarlton Cemetery Association. The Methodist Episcopal Diocese gave the Church and Cemetery to this assocation, whose mission is to maintain them which is being done very well.
