Putney Mt in Putney Vt. is part of the Atlantic flyway for migrating birds. In the fall many people volunteer to count the birds that fly over on their way south. There is a trail head with parking at the base on Putney Mt. Rd. and it's a .54 mile hike up to the top. On top is description of the different birds that fly over.
