Charles Robertson, Trustee, on the "east (Catbird) Branch of Sinking Creek" was held the First Court of the newly formed County of Washington, North Carolina, with John Carter, Chairman; John Sevier, Clerk; John McMahon, Register; Valentine Sevier, Sheriff; and James Stuart, Survivor.
