This is a wooden pier that extends 960 feet into Old Tampa Bay. It has 6 benches along the sides, 5 fish cleaning stations and 7 bait tables. It has a shelter in the middle and a small fishing platform at it. It also has Taste Of Boston Restaurant and a bait shop.
Sit at the end of the pier, admire the striking view of downtown's skyline and watch the yachts sail by. During the day it can get a little crowded, but at night seeing the light glistening on the water is very pretty. It is open 24 hours a day for fishing.
