I was having lunch with one of the local historians, and the topic turned to Lustron homes. I mentioned I wanted to post all three of the Lustron homes in Joliet.
The response was "No, there are four. The other one is on John Street."
So I went out in search of this lost child of Lustron and sure enough, I found this light green Lustron home tucked in with a bunch of other post-war ranches.
The front door has been modified to be under the eaves instead of on the gabeled end by enclosing the porch area with patio windows.
