"Rib Mountain State Park is a 1,480 acre Wisconsin state park near the city of Wausau. The park includes a ski resort concession, Granite Peak Ski Area, and is ten miles north-northwest of Central Wisconsin Airport."

The park has overnight camping, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, picnic tables, playgrounds, summer naturalist program, amphitheater overlooking the Wisconsin River Valley, observation tower, and several interesting geological features.
