Long Description:
Roxy Paine’s graceful, towering stainless steel tree sculpture named "Split" is one of over 20 sculptures that can be found at the Olympic Sculpture Park in downtown Seattle.

The piece evolved from a lengthy, detailed analysis of the structure of a tree. At first you might miss it, depending on the angle of light because it looks so real. It's branches are often full of resting crows, giving it a slightly ominous look that it typically doesn't have.
