This plaque was placed in here to commemorate the efforts of Raoul Wallenberg a Swedish Diplomat who sacrificed his freedom and in doing so save 100,000 lives. The plaque is located near City Hall in Calgary, Alberta.

Raoul Wallenber was a Swedish Diplomat stationed in Hungary towards the end of World War II. He save 100,000 lives, in doing so, he forfieted his freedom, sixty years ago.
