Googie design soon inflitrated automobiles. This has got to be the Googiest! This gas turbined-powered "Car of Tomorrow" featured an aircraft-type canopy and a titanium body.

All that comes to mind when I look at this Pontiac Firebird, was "Bubble Topped Rocket Shark!
I want one!

Why didn't this ever make it to production?
And what's a Pontiac doing at the Ford Museum?
