Lyric Theater of Harrison Arkansas is locatied in the Downtown Square across the street north from the Courthouse.
This 1929 Theater was in bad need of repairs.

"The Ozark Arts Council, a 501 ( c )( 3 ) not for profit corporation, was formed in 1996 with the mission of promoting and encouraging the humanities and cultural arts within this part of Arkansas. In 1999 the O.A.C. purchased the Lyric Theater, a 1929 movie theater in very bad repair, with the goal of repairing and restoring the theater as a performing arts center. The theater has now been substantially restored and a year-round schedule of concerts, plays, art shows and classic movies is being presented."
It is a great Old Theater once again so make sure and visit and hey if your an artist you can rent it as well.
