Long Description:
As detailed on a plaque at the site, the Harvard Mark II was the
priciple secondary training aircraft used by the R.C.A.F. during
WWII.
Nearly 2500 British Commonwealth received their flying service
training on this type of aircraft at No. 6 Service Flying Training
School R.C.A.F Dunnville from Oct 31st 1940 to December 1st
1944.
It stands as a tribute to the 47 service men that made the
supreme sacrifice as well as to all those that served.
