Text reads: In the vast reaches of the American West the work ethic still exists. The man who makes is living on horses that are bound to buck, earns his pay. A gos hand is loyal to his outfit, meets a challange and takes pride in an honest days work. This museum displays a permanent collection of contemporary Western American Art. More than 200 paintings and sculptures, by more than 100 of the finest 20th century Western artists, depict the history and legends of the Old West, as well as the modern day cowboy and Native Peoples.
