The Bell as marked was cat by a Cincinnati, Ohio foundry, Blymer, Norton, and Ogg Co. that operated between 1868 and 1872. No Doubt it was purchased when the brick First Christian Church was built after the 1862 destruction of the 1857 frame building by the Union forces during the Civil War.
