The Lower Alabama Vietnam Veterans Memorial is located in Battleship Park at 2703 Battleship Parkway in Mobile. The park is also home to a Korean Veterans Memorial, the battleship USS ALABAMA, the submarine USS DRUM, and many military aircraft.

At the center of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial stands the US flag. Near the flagpole, a bronze statue of a Vietnam veteran gazes at the black granite wall engraved with a roster of the "men from Alabama who served in Vietnam but could not return". Directly across, another black granite wall displays a veteran's quote regarding the war. Behind the roster wall are flags for each of the armed services. Behind the statue of the veteran is a large sculpture representing a POW*MIA bracelet for those who were captured or missing in action. The memorial was dedicated 07 November 1998.
