Quick Description: The hike up Kaiwa Ridge starts at with parking available on Kaelepulu Drive at N21° 23.419" W157° 43.170", near the gates of the golf course. The trailhead starts up the road to the east.

Long Description:
This pillbox was built in 1942 as a fire control station with the codename Podmore for the 3 and 5 inch guns in Wailea for defense of the Bellows Air Force station to the south.
