This lighthouse can be found at the main entrance to Pointe Woodworth, a gated community located in NE Tacoma. Although a few of the houses along the edge of the development have views of Tacoma's industrial harbor in the distance, the lighthouse does not.

The lighthouse was built to act as a guardhouse where the guard would open and close the gates. I've never seen it manned though, and assume that it is now just used for decoration.
