This welcome center is located on U.S. 13, northbound, just north of the Virginia State Line in Worcester County, Maryland. It is approximately four miles south of Pocomoke City and is the gateway to Maryland's lower Eastern Shore. The staff is very helpful with route information and lots of pamphlets. Ph. (410) 957-2484.
Hours of Operation:
Centers operate from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm year round. Memorial to Labor Days, centers are open until 6 PM on Fridays. All Centers are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day as well as three days in February/March for the annual Welcome Center Staff Seminar.
