Hutch's has been in Eugene since 1927. The Bend store has a web site with history that includes the original Eugene store. The Bend location is independant of the original store but still carries the name. Family members involved in successful lives of their own were not interested in carrying on the family business so Hutch's was given (Yes Given) to loyal longtime employees by the family in a goodwill gesture.
