This eternal flame is part of the multi-war veterans' memorial placed in Pine Grove Park.
This text is on the plaque placed on the memorial.
The eternal flame that now illuminates this veterans' memorial is due to the generosity of the Semco Energy Gas Company, Citizens First Savings Band and the City of Port Huron.
As a result of the flame that now burns, this memorial is rededicated on this 24th day of May 1988 by the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council
