The labyrinth was opened on the 25th August 2005. It was opened in honour of refugees and migrants who have journeyed their way to this land.
During daylight hours this labyrinth is publicly avalable as a prayer/meditation tool.
The pomegranate tree has been planted in the centre of the labyrinth, evoking the "Tree of Knowledge" mentioned in the biblical story of creation.
