Once a permit is purchased from the Forest Preserve District of Will County, visitors can use both dog parks year round during seasonal preserve hours:

April 1 – October 31, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
November 1 – March 31, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Permits are valid from the date of issue until December 31 of that calendar year.

The permit fees are:
Annual permit -
$25/dog/county resident
$50/dog/non-resident

Annual senior citizen (65 years or older for the owner) dog permit -
$20/dog/county resident
$40/dog/non-residents

Half-year permit (July 1 - December 31) -
$15/dog/county resident
$30/non-resident

One-day permit - $3/dog

Limit 3 dogs max/permit; one permit/person
