With all the twists and turns and loops you would think you would get bounced around on Batman: The Ride. I do not know what makes this coaster different, but is one of the smoothest rides I have experienced.

Opening on May 9, 1992, this Batman: The Ride was the first of many such roller coasters in the other Six Flags parks.

On June 20, 2005, Batman: The Ride was awarded landmark status by the American Coaster Enthusiasts [ACE] at their annual convention for being the first roller coaster with an inverted loop.
