The steel pole is 338 feet high, more than the length of a football field.
The length of the flag could be stretched across the width of a football field.
The flagpole weighs 65 tons, without the flag.
Each star is 3 foot high and each stripe is 4 1/2 fee wide.
The flag is 120 feet by 60 feet, or 7,200 square feet and weighs 300 lbs.
The flag pole is sunk into a 550-ton block of concrete that is 40 foot deep and 8 foot wide, and is reiforced with thousands of steel rods.
