A small triangular park in mid-town Atlanta named for World War I hero, General John Pershing. Pershing Point Park forms the junction of two of Atlanta's most traveled downtown business routes, Peachtree Street and W. Peachtree St. Dedicated to the residents of Fulton County who died in the first Great War (WW I), the park features well-groomed flower beds, a nice collection of trees and shrubs, and a small arrangement of circular, red-brick walkways and several benches. The war monument stands proud at the center of the green, and offers a nice place for a peaceful, if not altogether quiet, lunch
