The Hildreth Covered Bridge was built in 1878 by builder Hocking Valley Bridge Works.

The bridge crosses Little Muskingum River and is 128 feet in length. The bridge truss construction in the Howe type, and the Ohio state bridge number is 35-84-24.

This bridge is also known as; Hills Covered Bridge and Lafaber's Mill Bridge.
