The folks living here in this Lustron are the original owners. They tell us that they watched the Lustrons being built in their neighborhood. They also said they were interviewed for the PBS documentary, "Lustron: The House America's Been Waiting For".
They've left their Lustron mostly alone and in its original state. A few changes have been made over the years, but it's largely been untouched. They were kind enough to give us the grand tour.
And, yes, those are the original house numbers.
