Luisenplatz is right in the center of Potsdam, the capital of the German state of Brandenburg. Ever since the castle and gardens of Sanscoussi were built, Potsdam has been famous four its fountains. This is the largest one downtown, right in front of Potsdam's Brandenburg Gate (not to confuse with Berlin's Brandenburg Gate).
