Long Description:
This bell was purchased by the town of Centerburg in 1882. This 1300lb bell was made in the southwest Ohio town of Hillsboro. There is no indication as to what the bell was used for, but it was erected in this spot in 1972 by the Centerburg volunteer Fire Department.
