Lamerton Lane Guide Stone - Dartmoor Granite on Waymarking.com

This 20th century peat pass was dug by the Lamerton Hunt, digging started in 1920’s by 1959 it was abandoned unfinished. Although you can see where the peat has been removed, this solitary stone marks the peat pass. Over the years this stone has been used in many letterbox clues.
