The courthouse is undergoing rennovations and will soon be open again for new business. The wall outside is, of course, always accessible.
The memorial is a beautiful and simple monument that St. Francois County residents are proud of. It is honored every Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day by the branches of the military. Sitting in the center of town, it is also the hub of tradition and pride during festivals and fairs throughout the year.

 Description of Memorial: A large marble wall outside the old St. Francois County Courthouse in the center of the square in Farmington, Missouri. Mounted on top of the memorial is a bronze eagle, and inset into the memorial is a plaque thanking the committee members who placed it as well as bronze medallions for the Lions, VFW, and American Legion.
