Just east of Newark, Ohio, along State Route 16 stands the "world's largest basket."

This basket is home to the Longaberger Basket Company. The building is 7 stories tall, and encompasses 180,000 square feet. It was built as a replica of their Medium Market Basket, only 160 times larger.

Visitors are welcome, and you'll often find whole bus-loads of folks here. Admission is free! Hours are Mon-Sat 8a-5p and Noon-5p on Sunday.
