The Sports Hall of Fame is located in a "40,000 square foot building offering an amazing visitor experience for local Calgarians, visitors from around the world and Canadians from coast to coast to coast! Just like attending your favourite sporting event, visitors won’t have a dull moment at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
You can:
?Practice with the pros in our BE A GOALIE and BE A CATCHER three-dimensional hockey and baseball interactives;
?Discover Canada’s sport legends at the HERO STATION;
?Experience more than 55 sports in our BLADE, BOUNCE, CONTACT, GLIDE, HOCKEY, LOCKER ROOM, MEDIA ROOM, MOTION, OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC, RIDE and SPLASH galleries - which are filled with interactive experiences, treasured sport memorabilia and artefacts, images and sounds that will transport visitors into the world of Canadian sport;
?Celebrate events of all kinds with us by renting our whole facility or just some of our state-of-the-art rooms for movie premiers to press conferences and birthday parties. Or join us for a Stampede Breakfast and other public events through the year;
?Learn about Canada’s sporting history from the experts in the Education and Resource Centre;
?Join our team and become a volunteer by helping us host national events like the 2011 Induction Dinner or preserving Canada’s sporting past by working in our galleries"
