The border is marked with a plaque with 2 smaller ones underneath pointing left to Nevada & right to Arizona. This spot also marks the boundary between Pacific Standard Time & Mountain Standard Time.

This border crossing may be one of the most photographed in the world, as thousands of visitors walk across the dam every year and many, if not most, pose in this spot for a 'picture on the border'.
