The sawmill is now a museum dedicated to the logging industry of the area and can be visited free of charge.

With a diameter of 6.30 m the water wheel is the largest in all of southern Germany. Along with the mechanisms and canal system, it is protected as a monument and powers an old framesaw.
Visit Instructions:
Please give the date of your visit and a brief description of your experience and any additional information you may have about the waterwheel, its current condition, etc. We would very much like at least one original photo from your visit, but it is not absolutely necessary.
