The Navy Pier Ferris Wheel is a great spot to view the city from. For $5 a ride, you can slowly rise up over the city and have gorgeous views of both Lake Michigan and the city skyline. The ferris wheel turns very slowly, never stopping,so there is plenty of time to snap some great pics of the city while you are up there.

The ferris wheel is modeled after the famous ferris wheel that was the star attraction for the 1893 world's fair in Chicago.
