Canton Ohio was not only home to the American Professional Football Association, later to become the NFL, but gave rise to the Canton Bulldogs, an early powerhouse team of professional football and the team where the great Jim Thorpe played. With that heritage, a concerted effort was made to establish the Pro Football Hall of fame which opened in 1963.
The Hall of Fame features a bronze bust of each member, many pieces of memorbilia of football history,archives, a theater, store, and an adjacent stadium.
Hours of Operation:
Memorial Day-Labor Day — Daily 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Remainder of the Year — Daily 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day
Admission Prices:
Adults (15-59): $30.50
Seniors (60+): $23.50
Children (9-14): $17.00
