Go into the Petrified Forest National Park from I-40/Route 66. Go past the Painted Desert Visitors Center up to the Painted Desert Inn Museum. Proceed on foot past the Inn out toward the viewing area. Keep an eye out to the right side of the sidewalk and look for a black rock with the disk embedded.
