This is one of several Old School houses in our area.
Originally a School was to be in every Township.
Each Township was a 6 mile square and contained 36 sections.
Most of these have been torn down or left fall in to disappear back into the Earth once again.
I found this one looking for a nearby benchmark almost 6 years ago and finally have found a nice home for it.
The Hand Pump is still there but that's about it.
Some parts remain inside but have slowly been vandalized.
