Coltsville is a 260 acre site that contain the buildings used in the 19th century manufacture of Colt firearms. Here is a pdf map of the area: (

The armory was built in 1855 and the rest of the site was constructed over the next few years. In 1864 a fire destroyed the armory and the only original structures still standing are the foundry and factory. The Armory was rebuilt as well as the onion dome. The blue onion can be see from all around.

Ten of the 20 worker houses exist today and they all appear to be occupied. Some of the other buildings have been converted to residential and business loft.
