The S. B. Elliott State Park is 318-acres in the heart of Moshannom State Forest. The park is situated in entirely wooded picturesque areas of forest and swamp meadows with a growth of mixed hardwood and oak timber.
The state park was named for the Honorable Simon B. Elliott, who was a member of the Pennsylvania Legislation and member of the State Forestry Reservation Commission.
Coordinates are at the S. B. Elliott State Park sign, and the road leading into the park.

Activities: Fishing, Hiking, Picnicking, Camping, Hunting, Cross-Country Skiing, and Snowmobiling
Park Fees: None really. Unless if you want to get a campsite or a cabin.
Background: Around 1930, the State of Pennsylvania purchased land from Pennsylvania lumber companies. In 1933 Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), began to establish the now S. B. Elliott State Park.
