This plaque and memorial is in memory of members of the Buffalo Municipal Baseball Association who served their country in World War I. The memorial recently received conservation treatment. The stone eagle was reconstructed and the plaque was restored. It is located in Cazenovia Park, near the baseball fields, in south Buffalo.
The plaque is engraved with the following: "In honor of the members of the Buffalo Municipal Baseball Association Inc who served their country in the World War for democracy 1917 - 1919. Dedicated July 20, 1919 by Hon. John F. Malone, Commissioner of Parks and Public Buildings and the officers, board of directors and members of the association."
